This review is on the PowerSpa 6" Rainfall Showerhead with 12" Adjustable Extension Arm, Chrome from IpShowers
I was very eager to try this out, we have always wanted a rain head for the master shower. Now that the kids had their own 7-Setting Luxury Hand Shower. It was time for us to get our own. Like I mentioned in the other review, water pressure was my biggest concern, but I was looking forward to seeing how it worked. Here's how it worked out:
Pros:
-The showerhead came with all of the associated items needed for a complete installation, including a replacement plumbers tape for the water pipe, and a complete set of instructions. The packaging kept the showerhead secure and scratch-free.
-Installation was a SNAP - the showerhead screwed right onto the water pipe and sealed perfectly. (NOTE: You will want to use a cloth over the wrench or pliers when tightening, as to not scratch the nut surface)
-Water pressure is not an issue, as I had been led to believe before. The shower operates with a beautiful stream of water at a good pressure. It took some getting used to, and some minor adjustments, but taking a shower now is definitely better than before.
Cons:
-The showerhead is primarily made of chrome-plated high strength plastic. Not a deal-breaker to me, but might be to some. Still holds up and cleans up fine.
-There is a VERY SLIGHT squeak occasionally when the shower is working, when the water comes through the shower nozzles, but it doesn't bother me.
Overall, this was a fantastic find, and I'm glad that I was able to grab it.
